Digital Books and VideosĮmpire Knowledgebank (EKB) and Skillsoft eBooks and Videos Portal - This site gives you access to thousands of free digital books and videos. In fact, research shows that if you space your learning activities on a topic over time, you'll get more out of your learning experience and remember it longer - so extend your learning with these suggested activities! Unlike your eight required online courses, these activities are optional and do not need to be completed to receive your certificate. However, you can continue improving your Microsoft Word skills any time you like. Want to learn more? The Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate Program ends on February 7, 2023. This certificate will assist you in developing the following competency: When you complete this certificate, you will have an opportunity to enhance your skills in one of these competency areas. Workforce development competencies are job-based skills employees need to succeed across a wide variety of occupations. Note: The Print Certificate button will only be available if the status is Completed. To print your certificate, log in to SLMS, go to My Learning page, locate the appropriate certificate program, and click on the Print Certificate button. Participants who successfully complete the required eight courses by February 7, 2023, will be awarded a Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate from the Partnership. All online learning courses will be taken through the Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS). Participants are required to successfully complete eight courses and achieve a passing grade of 70% or higher in each course.
All required courses must be completed by February 7, 2023. Courses will be available from Februthrough February 7, 2023. Time FramesĮmployees can register for the Microsoft Word 2016 Basics Online Certificate Program between Februand February 6, 2023. It may be possible for employees to take courses during working hours with supervisory approval. Microsoft Word 2016 has tools to enhance the learning opportunities for students across a diversity of abilities and needs. Use stylus or mouse to draw on the document. Choose Pen, Highlighter or Eraser for the appropriate function. Supervisory approval is not required for courses taken outside the normal workday. To access Ink in Word 2016: Click on Review on the top ribbon. All CSEA-represented NYS employees are eligible to participate.
